Abstract: The Middle Jurassic Sundance Formation of the western United States is an ideal setting to contrast sequence stratigraphic controls on vertebrate and invertebrate fossils because of its diverse and abundant fauna (Massare et al. 2014).
Abstract: Here we describe the tenth skeleton, which is the most complete and best-preserved archaeopterygid specimen to date. The almost complete skeleton is preserved on a single slab of pure limestone (Figs 1–3), and comes from an unknown locality and horizon of the Solnhofen area; its exact collection history is unknown to us.
